South Yorkshire Investment Fund
South Yorkshire Investment Fund (SYIF) appointed HR Media as their media relations consultancy in 2005 to help promote the Fund to South Yorkshire businesses and intermediaries.
SYIF provide seedcorn, loan and equity linked investments, ranging from £15k to £2.5m, specifically to help small and medium businesses meet the gaps in funding they need for growth and development.
HR Media has generated a large amount ofpublicity on hundreds of businesses who have received a loan or investment from SYIF, targeting key business publications on a local, regional and national level.
SYIF's quarterly newsletter ‘Profile' and the company's annual report are also produced by HR Media throughout the year.
Created as part of the Objective 1 programme, the Fund is a private and public sector business finance provider.The European Regional Development Fund and Yorkshire Forward are investors in the Fund.
A unique feature of the way the Fund can help businesses is the Mentor bank which provides subsidised mentoring support to help management teams grow their business more profitably.
