Employees at the opticians regularly hold charity days in store to raise even more money for a number of charities.
Gil Vasey, director of Specsavers at Crystal Peaks, says: "We are very proud to be investing in the local community by charitable giving. The majority of our customers come from the local areas and it's good to be able to give something back.
"From the Sheffield Sharks to a local karate kid we have supported a wide range of good causes and it is a great pleasure to be able to do so.
"Our staff do a brilliant job fundraising for national charities and our charity days are great for staff morale. We look forward to continuing to help more charities and organisations in the future."
