DLA Piper expands Sheffield real estate team

South Yorkshire’s top commercial law firm is expanding its real estate department with the appointment of Mark Greenhalgh.

Mark joins the Sheffield office of global legal services provider DLA Piper after eight years in the City of London working with leading commercial property law firms.

He joined Berwin Leighton Paisner in 2003 gaining impressive experience across a wide range of property-related disciplines before taking the decision to specialise in property litigation and dispute resolution. Prior to joining Berwin Leighton Paisner Mark worked with magic circle law firm Clifford Chance.

Mark  said:  "Being a Northerner I am really excited  to be returning to my roots and to be joining  DLA Piper's Sheffield office. I was attracted to this opportunity by the quality of DLA Piper's real estate practice and the quality and variety of the clients that the Sheffield office acts for locally, nationally and internationally."

Mark will join the 35-strong Sheffield real estate team and will focus on property litigation and dispute resolution. Real estate partner Petra Billing said: "I'm delighted to welcome Mark to DLA Piper in Sheffield .
